Best books about behavioral economics

This category deals with the very human problem that we are our own worst enemy! Many of the books I recommend here are hugely popular, although they are not all easy reads. These truly are among the best investing books of all time and I encourage you to use the “Look Ahead” feature at Amazon to browse and choose any that interest you.

Learning how human emotions conflict with good investing is the first step towards controlling this. I can attest that you’ll find that you can relax more, ignore the (stock market) news, and wave off your friends who may try to impress you with their latest stock picks or market trades. Life is too short, and there are far better things that deserve your attention.
